I need help with game

How do I play assassin's creed black flag in windowed mode. I know, I don't play in fullscreen because my monitor is way to big and it stretches out the pixels making the game not look good. I play all my games in windowed mode but there is no option in Black flag to put in windowed mode, besides the resolution. Any ideas on how to help me please. Playing in windowed mode makes me get more fps and is a lot more enjoyable and graphics look better, less zoomed in. Any ideas on how to help me. Thanks

If its on steam go to advanced settings and then type in -windowed
