Before you read my wishes and wants, I would like to tell you all a bit about myself and my minecraft background. Hello, I am emelade. I am currently a senior in highschool, with a minor in natural science through my local community college. I have plans to attend Stanford University and pursue a chemical engineering career. When I was 12 my mother started me in Kuk Sool Won classes and since then I have competed in meets as a brown black belt. I also have taken an interest in dance, and although I do not compete, I perform at an intermediate level. The high school I attend focuses on the fine arts, and I engage in acting and painting/drawing. I am eager to learn and experience more and more. I am here as a friend, a hand to hold, ear to listen, and most definitely eyes to watch you prove everyone wrong. I can relate to a wide range of people and am highly intrigued by others interests. As for the gaming part, I partake a love for minecraft mainly. I enjoy building and creating work not only I can admire, but others as well. I am absolutely terrible with swinging a sword, though I will still and try to kill you. Animals are my forte and I could get absolutely nowhere without my sidekick pup Zoe! Also I know in previous staff applications my font has been a problem, but I created this in Microsoft Word so that is the font it gave. If anyone knows how to change it back to the original I will. My ign is emelade, a mix between my first (Emelyn) and middle (Jade) name. I chose this name because I wanted to incorporate something that involved the irl me. I feel this username really suits my character, and has bonus points for rhyming with lemonade!

As the store for the new opblocks is not up yet, I am not able to purchase a rank. However; I did have gobbler on the previous opblocks, KING on PrimeMC 4.0, and hustler on PrimeMC 3.0. I do plan on purchasing a rank when the shop is open again.
What times are you most often online? (your timezone):
I am currently taking a college class from 1:30 to 3pm on Wednesdays, but other than that my summer is mostly free. I usually take a 2ish hour break from being online (8 to 10pm) for family and personal time. Saturdays are normally open 11:30am to 5-6pm. If I do not have anything planned, they will stay open all day. Sundays are open after 1pm, and I am free until about 11pm. This is a basic estimate, and a closer table is shown below.
Sunday: 1:15pm to 11pm
Monday: 9:30am to 11pm.
Tuesday: 9:30am to 10pm.
Wednesday: 3:30pm to 11pm.
Thursday: 9:30am to 11pm
Friday: 9:30am to 11pm
Saturday: 11:30 to 5-6pm. After 5-6pm varies
Have you ever been banned or temporarily banned on any server?:
I have not been banned or temporarily banned on any server to my knowledge.
How long have you been playing on OPBlocks?:
I played OPBlocks from December 25th 2015, to February 26th 2016. I will continue playing OPBlocks until I grow out of Minecraft.
What previous experience do you have in server moderation and staffing? (If none, then leave the question blank.):
I only have experience with server staffing and moderation on friends servers, and my own server that I had for around 2 months. During the time I ran my own server I was opened up to helping players, needing to direct staff and constantly answer questions or concerns. I responded to hateful things as well, learning that although not easy, keeping your cool and thinking above your initial reaction is key. I can be independent when needed to, and I love a good challenge. Fortunately I am able take on multiple tasks with ease, and owning a small server and being apart of another did give me a run around.
SCENARIO: "You come home from school and have ton of homework to do, you think to yourself I'll just take a 5 minute break before I start and get on OPBlocks. The next thing you know 2 hours have passed and you've been on the server all that time." Does this scenario sound familiar to you? - How do you respond to this?:
This scenario does not sound familiar to me. Currently it is summer break, and I won’t be back to normal high school until August 16th. However previously mentioned I do take one college class a week, and so far this has produced little homework. I was raised to value the art of learning and keep myself very enclosed in my studies and schoolwork. I have been homeschooled most of my younger years so that was all I was surrounded by. In my family, school comes before any game, play, production, or activity. I allow myself to indulge in fun (Minecraft) after important things are done first. I am fairly organized with my time and well with differing from need/want.
Are you active on the OPBlocks teamspeak, and do you have a working microphone?:
I don’t believe the OPBlocks teamspeak is up and running currently, but I do have a working microphone. I will be active on the teamspeak when it’s up.
Are you able to record in viewable quality?:
Yes, I am able to record in viewable quality. Here is an example video of a report I did on PrimeMC.
Why do you want to be a staff member on OPBlocks?:
Being staff does not only require the responsibility and maturity, but love for the Minecraft community. In which I have. I like building and creating things not only for my enjoyment, but for the enjoyment of others. I am always open to encourage and enlighten players. I find myself benefiting from helping too! I have a natural instinct to want what is right and to inform others of what is right. I preform to the best of my abilities, and try to not bite off more than I can chew. I am far from perfect, and have no problem asking other staff members for advice. I give out and receive plenty of constructive criticism. I take a liking towards being useful and taking on challenging tasks. I am good at enforcing the rules, in a well-mannered way. I can grasp any situation with a steady, clear mind. I have a pretty dependable record for stubborn people tolerance and I work well and efficiently with others. I want to help make OPBlocks a welcoming community for players to join,
How would you respond to your application being denied, or a demotion as a staff member?
I would first make sure I completely understand the reason for being denied/demoted, then take responsibility for my actions. Admitting you’ve made a mistake is never easy, but is crucial in learning, growing, and improving. Then I would identify and correct my mistakes. If this is to happen I will calmly and collectively try again in a month or so. I wouldn’t purposely put myself in a comprisable state that affects my future. That said, if I were to be demoted it would most likely to be because of inactivity. My brother is sickly, and with little time to enjoy what life has to offer. I wish not to go into depth about this, but when he does pass I may need some time on my own. Thus the inactivity. I would/will return when I am no longer unstable, and continue being active.
