STAFF APPLICATIONS

Being a staff member on OPBlocks is a big deal, this comes with a lot of responsibility. You must be capable of dealing with situations in a professional and respectful manner, whilst helping on the go. For most players, you will be their first point of contact when they need help.

In order to apply for a staff position, you must meet specific requirements, these include:

• Language - OPBlocks is primarily an English server, regardless of this, your understanding and fluency of the English language is a must.
• Age - You must be 16 or older.
• Staffing - You must not be above the Helper/Trial Mod position on a different server.
  • You will be limited to reaching the Helper position, without the chance to be promoted.
• Voice Chat - You must be willing to use a microphone for voice chat.
• Punishment History - You must have a relatively clean punishment history
• Recording - You must be able to use recording software.
• Activity - You must have been a part of the OPBlocks community for at least 14 days.

Once you meet these requirements, you may post your application by clicking here. You may also use the "Create Thread" button on the previous page. Whilst filling out the application accordingly, please do so with as many meaningful details as possible. Short applications or those that contain little to no effort are often denied. Rambling on to lengthen your application is also not highly regarded. We recommend all players to use the following format, seen in the spoiler below, for all applications.

Please be aware that all applications will undergo a plagiarism and verification check. Failure to reply to our questions legitimately with your own answers will result in automatic denial and, depending on the severity, you may no longer be allowed to submit applications.

There is a limit of one application per 1 month (30 days).

Please note that the following actions will instantly deny your application and potential future ones.

• Annoying staff members (including in private) by asking them to look or vote on your application.
• Attacking the staff team after your denial/demotion, for whatever reason.
• Applying immediately after you were previously demoted from the team. There are no shortcuts.
• Using a VPN to connect to the server or the forums.
• Failing to be able to record.
• Failing to use the correct format.
• Copying your old applications.
• Copying previous applicant's applications.

All applications are generally looked at within a 2 week period. We ask for your patience as there are other matters to also attend to.

Builder Application Requirements

Being a builder comes with a lot of expectations and responsibilities. You will be given permissions that require a great deal of trust, so maturity while handling these permissions is important.

In order to apply to for the builder position, you must meet these specific requirements:

• Age - It is recommended to be at least 13, but exceptions can be made.
• Flexibility - As a builder, you will be a part of a team. While you may be asked to create solo projects, there will also be times where you will collaborate with the older builders. Communication is key.
• Voice Chat / Recording - You must be willing to use a microphone for voice chat and have a recording software
• Replay Mod - You must be able to download Replay Mod while on the team
• Language - OPBlocks is primarily an English server, regardless of this, your understanding and fluency of the English language is a must.
• Experience - OPBlocks has a certain standard for builds, which are expected to be upheld to the same standard.

Partner Application Requirements

Being a partner on OPBlocks gives you the chance to explore our server and receive a unique opportunity to grow your community. This position is unpaid.

In order to apply to become a partner on OPBlocks, you must meet the following requirements:

• Previous OPB Content - You are encouraged to have had one stream or video on OPBlocks prior to applying.
  
  
• Subscriber / Follower Count - You must have a combined subscriber / follower count of at least 1,000 people across the platforms you record on or stream to.
  
  
• View Count - You must have an average view count of at least 100 people per stream or 500 views for a video (first 24 hours).
  
  
• Content Schedule - You must be able to stream or release a video at least once per week (or on an otherwise decided upon reliable basis). You must consult and schedule with the administration team prior to streaming so to avoid conflicts.
  
  
• Communication - You must be able to communicate with the Media team and the Administration team on a regular basis using Discord.
