Sooo... an unnamed source seemed to indicate we're getting an update in the not-to-distant future. Wanna see what we can get staff to tell us about this?

Nothing wrong with having a popular YouTuber to gain an audience, but to rely on it is bad. I've heard that the population soars after Crainer does a vid. v2 isn't ready for that.
The best way for OPB to grow is for the community to give constructive criticism back to staff & hope they act on it. *We* are essentially OPBs future, right? We're helping build what OPB will become. We fund (somewhat) through donations, we improve gameplay through user feedback, we bring in new players by promoting the site on YT and elsewhere.
That's why I don't understand the toxicity that some people bring. They're gonna be the OG one day - the legends of OPBv2 - and they waste that opportunity on petty stuff.

I've seen first hand what software development is like & a few months to work out the first round of bugs is nothing. I don't know how much beta testing there was, but I'm sure it was just enough to get the server up and ready for release. From there, you fix bugs & add minor features. Once it's stable & the team has the framework down, you start to see monthly releases.
Remember that when you first start, funds are tight and resources are low. As that changes, so will the environment.
Hang in for the first 3 months. Then re-evaluate where OPBv2 is. If bugs aren't fixed by then, there's a bigger issue.

The part where Jerreinemy said there are a handful of OGs left is somewhat true. Although some of the OGs are actually willing to come back to the server when the server changes in the right direction. I'm really frustrated at the amount of people saying they want V1 back. I know it's selfish of me to say that but it's like telling a government to go back to their past when they want things to change. Give it a little bit more time and maybe you will change your perspective on the server. No server is perfect, the developers have lives and other servers to manage. Now that Prime has somewhat settled with their Skyblock reset, I can see the update might be coming soon unless they choose to neglect this server and just work on Prime Prison 5.0.
