Hey everyone!

Sorry it's been so long since the last update, we've been working on the new gamemodes over the last few weeks (Survival, Creative, KitPvP, etc..) but realized that we should always prioritize the gamemodes that make OPBlocks so great :)

So here's a list of the few small updates we just implemented:

OP Prison
  • There is now a 10 second cooldown on throwing enderpearls.
  • You can now get an instant invite link to our discord by typing /discord
  • The missions that were bugged and gave you incorrect rewards have been fixed.
  • We have added a new custom enchant called "Soulbound"
    • This enchant has a max level of 1, and can be purchased for armor, weapons & tools.
    • This enchant will allow you to keep the item the enchant is applied to upon death, so if you were to put this enchant on your sword, and then you were to die with that sword - you would get it back when you respawn and it wouldn't drop.
    • Once you use this enchant, it will be removed from your item, so it only has one use.
    • The cost of this enchant is 10,000 ETokens.
  • Mine Bombs have been added to the black market for the following prices:
    • 20x Peppermint Poppers - 1,000 ETokens
    • 20x Bubblegum Bombs - 2,000 ETokens
    • 20x Gummy Grenades - 3,000 ETokens
    • 20x Toffee Torpedos - 5,000 ETokens
    • 20x Hershey Hurricane - 7,000 ETokens
  • We have added a lot of new missions as well: (use /missions in-game)
    • Name: Kangaroo I
      Description: Jump 100 times
      Rewards: 250 ETokens

      Name: Kangaroo II
      Description: Jump 500 times
      Rewards: 500 ETokens

      Name: Kangaroo III
      Description: Jump 1000 times
      Rewards: 1000 ETokens

      Name: Discord
      Description: Join our discord with /discord
      Rewards: 1000 ETokens

      Name: BonBon Farmer I
      Description: Farm 10 bonbon candies.
      Rewards: 3x BonBons & $50,000

      Name: BonBon Farmer II
      Description: Farm 30 bonbon candies.
      Rewards: 10x BonBons & $150,000

      Name: BonBos Farmer III
      Description: Farm 50 bonbon candies.
      Rewards: 1x Cookie Jar Key

      Name: Decapitator I
      Description: Pick up 1 players head.
      Rewards: 250 ETokens

      Name: Decapitator II
      Description: Pick up 5 players heads.
      Rewards: 1000 ETokens

      Name: Decapitator II
      Description: Pick up 10 players heads.
      Rewards: 1500 ETokens

      Name: Constructor I
      Description: Place 500 blocks.
      Rewards: 250 ETokens

      Name: Constructor II
      Description: Place 1000 blocks.
      Rewards: 1000 ETokens

      Name: Constructor III
      Description: Place 1500 blocks.
      Rewards: 1500 ETokens

I know its not a lot, but it's something while you wait for the new gamemodes :)

PS: If you're reading this a few hours after it was posted, these updates won't take effect until the next server reboot (7 AM EDT)

Haha you wouldn’t believe me. Logan, the developer, said there were none in the works.

@Amazing we deserved the courtesy to be told there would be no more rewards added. Keeping us hanging is not cool.
Also who are you making the other game modes for? You can’t expect people to buy ranks for every mode...

Its called prison. Keep it that way. Adding new game modes to convince the player base to buy more ranks and make more purchases on the different game modes so the server can pocket more cash is seriously dumb. Stick with the original idea. You can already see how Prime went. If you want opb to that route and become another failure I highly doubt the management has any clue what they are doing. The Prison updates are decent so good work on that but seriously wts are you doing

This is a prison server, not Prime. Prime died because it tried to maintain 5 different game modes at once, but none really succeeded as there was nothing special about them. OPBlocks focused on Prison and succeeded at prison well, as OPBlocks prison was different than other prison servers. Please don’t turn this server into Prime V2.

Anyways, cool idea, sad to see none of my ideas are in there, but oh well, maybe next time.
