Better than my new computer
Processor: i5 2400

mine is alright for a starter I suppose

I think replacing the graphics card might be a good idea. A 710 runs good for Minecraft I guess since mc is cpu based and i5 is good enough but you'd have a hard time playing any new games at above 30fps with that.

Edit: Or even old games for a matter of fact. When I was on a 1060 I ran csgo at like 200+ fps so I don't think a 710 holds up

How goods a ryzen? I've been wondering whether it would be worth to make a switch but most people feel Intel's the way to go. Never had experience with amd

Ryzen is pretty good if you're on a budget. imo it's a good value for money cpu, especially when intel's good cpu prices are quite high. Before it's intel all the way since amd cpu are kinda doodoo but since ryzen 2nd gen and 3rd gen was released now I would have to consider amd.

Tbf I only bought the computer because it was somewhat faster than my old, broken one.

I think it does play old games however, I read that it plays CSGO, Batman Arkham City, Black Ops 2 and The Force Unleashed.
