Signature character limit?

I went to change my signature and apparently there's now a character limit. That seems reasonable, but it's way too low. I can't even fit my staff history alone into the signature, because thats 23 more characters than the limit. Can someone please change that limit? It's kind of ridiculous.

I guess the 10 lines limit is my problem, let me play around with that

Edit: I managed to shrink my signature, but I had to put the dates in shortened form. May I suggest increasing the limit to, say, 240 or something?

Eh I don't want particularly long signatures on the site because some people aren't considerate enough to use spoilers.

Yeah & sadly we don't have signatures auto-collapse anymore with the "show more" button if they're long.
