Which area is your suggestion for:
Forums
What is your suggestion:
Remove "Must have a donator rank" requirement for staff application.
How will your suggestion improve OPBlocks:
Please remove the donator rank requirement for staff applications since there aren't many players at the moment. You may miss good staff members, because not all of us are as rich as others. By adding this requirement you are trying to "force" us to donate, because some of us really want to be helpers, and because of that players will donate. As you see, there aren't many staff applications at the moment, and i bet that half of them are going to be denied.

I may be wrong but I believe the reason is to make sure the player is committed to keep playing the game. Without this requirement they could have a lot of applications get accepted and people just quit playing.

I've seen you say ingame that you would be willing to donate just to abuse the powers you got. This results in me saying -1 (Obvious why!) This would result In players like you being able to apply, possibly get accepted and then cause mayhem.

Scenario: A boy that just wants to grief the server comes on, gets friendly with everyone and joins the forums for probably 50 days. He creates an application and gets accepted. After that's done, he bans every person that's currently on the server. Now do that scenario 10 more times, because that's how many times this will happen if the application is accepted.

That doesn't mean that a guy who buys a 3.50$ rank can't do the same.

Hello! They have that as a requirement because they want to see if a player is truly committed. If someone really wanted to be staff on the server they would easily buy a rank. Also the ranks are super cheap.. I think everyone that is playing MC has at least 3.50$.

Yeah, but not everyone has paypal or any other payment options. I could buy the candy warrior, but that's the thing, i have nothing to pay with. But the only reason players would apply is just to get promoted to mod. We don't need a staff rank to help.

As we too feel everyone should stand a chance at becoming staff, we'll be removing this requirement very soon.
