Lunar crosshair problem

So basically on 1.12.2 when you press f5 there's no crosshair but when you press it with the crosshair mod on you can see it in f5 is this cheating

I know what you're talking about but how is this cheating? Seeing your cross hair while on third person perspective doesn't give you any sort of advantage
