So basically when I was doing the /ad thing, I noticed that each credit was worth $0.02 and you receive 2 credits each time. But 100 credits only gives you $1 when it should be $2 if you calculate it. So I'm a bit confused if anyone could help?

Each credit is worth 1 cent. You just receive 2 credits per ad.
