Okay all i really know is that it could be something with the resource pack maybe try turning off your resource pack if you have one on and then try joining and turn your resource pack back on?

Like can you get into the lobby because it could be with the texture pack that's making you crash.

I find this a good/bad idea well 1st of all good because like you said for drop parties and stuff, and bad because i know you can already store money in you're gang but there's really no point in this to be honest. Oh and btw what does the Sweepstakes mean?
