But first of all, are you actually going "fix" and/or "change" the server? The last four mangers promised to change the server too, but just ended up pretty much just copying almost everything from previous versions and calling it a day.

some of you gotta stop comparing new and old managers/devs - I havent been keeping track of player rates and such but affixes seems pretty hardworking and has improved prime since the last time I saw it, so just give him a chance lol

just imo, don't think that opb will ever return to how it was in v1. The community was why v1 flourished. Fast forward a few years and you'd realise that pretty much everyone's gone, and we're just left with a new mix of nice, dedicated players, and toxic teenagers. It's just a completely new server to be honest.

Honestly, I've worked with every manager of from v1 to v... whatever we are on. (yes I worked with aoros too) And every time you have to adapt to their work style and get used to how they function. Not one manager is the same and honestly we can't judge them until the update happens. Or the work up to the update.

v1 isn't ever coming back. People always keep saying "lets revert to v1", but they forgot how bad v1's content was. During v1 the server was only alive due to the community. Many players didn't "play" the actual server anymore due to lack of content, but came on due to the community. I know this cause guess who was staff v1... I knew the server wasn't getting the updates it needed and didn't have the content it needed. The money wasn't coming in either. Bringing back the content won't change anything. v1 died with the merge and even with the name "opblocks" its pretty much a new server.

Humans are meant to make mistakes, we learn from them, we improve. Jesse seems like he has gotten a lot better, so just leave him be.

its hard to not compare old to new managers. all new managers seem to be hard working. the last manager on here was hard working, just for a different server. its hard to focus on two servers at one especially when one server isn't going the way you hope and the other server is thriving. also, if the server is used to manager after manager after manager quitting after not seeing what they want in a couple months, obviously everyone will have the same initial reaction, hoping the manager will actually do something. people aren't sick of dead servers, they would just like to see the one server they used to play actually running again. playing or not, some people just want the community back. v1 or not if the server is actually running again with a decent player base, old and new communities will form again. why do you think forums is now the only source for everyone to communicate. because people don't get mad about how forums is ran, they can easily talk to whoever they want and its the same. some people just actually want to have the community but play the game.
