Hello everyone, pretty sure people will hardly give a damn about this since I'm practically a nobody now, but I have decided to go on hiatus again. This time, mostly out of frustration rather than personal issues.
1) IRL Trading being allowed.
Why. Just why. This was the rule that wasn't supposed to change. It was there for a reason, to keep the economy in tact. Before this was allowed, no lifers such as myself and others were always top bal. But we EARNED our spot there, we play 24/7. Sometimes even putting in some money to help our effective money gaining. Now that it's allowed the entire top bal is FULL of IRL traders and p2w people. I don't mind p2w people but IRL traders just throws me off.
2) The betrayal of trust from a v1 player.
As a v1 player that no one knows at this point, it feels like the loyalty from us v1 players was just thrown away. The only reason there are new versions of OPBlocks is not to improve on it, but rather just to make more money from it. I had faith in the server, I wanted the server to thrive. Suggestions were overdue, bugs that were supposed to be fixed never got fixed etc.
I have spent well over 1k USD on this server since v1. Not sure if I'm still the top donator overall but I was, at one point, the top donator. I stayed loyal to the server, joining every version and only played OPBlocks the entire time. Hell, v1 players barely get even respect. No rewards, nothing.
3) My opinion on the current version.
The current version, mechanically, is one of my favourites, rewarding to mine and such. Something that was SUPPOSED to be implemented years ago. The donor mine gaps are still absurdly huge but it has always been that way so I can't complain about that. Chests are just another p2w grab which is literally nearly the same as buying in game money. Now the pets I like, it's a very nice concept for once. Making mining less unrewarding than it already is.
4) The staff team.
The staff team itself is good. Not the best, but good. Still, lackluster probably because no one even applies nowadays. I like the people individually in the staff team currently, except some questionable ones but nonetheless I still like them.
5) Conclusion.
In conclusion, this is just me ranting. You don't have to agree on anything I have just said nor do you have to hate on others for it. It's just getting frustrating from me as someone who has played since late 2015 back in v1. I thank everyone who have made my journey enjoyable, and I hope that the server will actually TRY to be good now that Res is in charge.

Was a great 1 day of playing I guess, 40 hours ish in total I think? In that time period I got:
20 million blocks broken
100 bill - All given away
Semi-Maxed pickaxe.
Maxed both backpacks.
Maxed Turtle pet.
Lack of sleep.
Thanks for reading my flexing and ranting Kappa. Love you all, perhaps we will meet again in the next version? Who knows.
