Do you have your mind set on being the next Bill Gates? If so, You’re in the right place. One of the most important features on Carnival Skyblock is the ability for players to trade between one another and to open up a store on their island. Stores are a great way to gain a passive income and get one step closer to that coveted /is top and /baltop. So, what are you waiting for? Here’s how:

Below is an example of what a completed Chestshop should look like. Make sure you place the sign either on or adjacent to the chest. Place the items you are selling or buying from in the chest:

  • Line 1 - Your Username (caSe senSATiVE)
  • Line 2 - Quantity of items for sale
  • Line 3 - Price of items being sold
  • Line 4 - item ID (or name)

Unsure of what each line means? Keep reading for the in-depth tutorial on how to create a Chest Shop. Don’t worry, everyone has to start somewhere!

In order to create a ChestShop you need two basic items. Both a chest (or trapped chest) and a sign. Have these two items in your inventory and ready to go for this tutorial. If you do not yet have wood, purchase a sapling at /warp shop or chop down the tree on your island already.

  • Step 1 - First, place the chest in the desired location of your ChestShop. This chest is where you will sell items from or purchase items to. Think of this chest as your mini, well, ChestShop.
  • Step 2 - To create the ChestShop, you will want to place a sign either on or adjacent to the chest.
  • Step 3 - Open the sign editor and begin to complete each line. The general format you should use for each line should be as follows:

  • Line 1 - Your Username (caSe senSATiVE)
  • Line 2 - Quantity of items for sale (Only put a #)
  • Line 3 - Price of items being sold (Put B # or S #)
  • Line 4 - Item ID (or name)

Depending on the purpose of your store, this format may change slightly. Here are a few examples:

Regular Shops (For players to buy items)

Profit Shops (For players to sell items to)

Multiuse Store (For profit/regular shops)

Note: For multiuse stores, you will need to put a colon (“ : “) in between both the B and S options.

  • Step 4 (opt) - Don’t know the Item ID? Not to worry, do /iteminfo in game to review the unique Item ID or visit MC IDs websites.

  • Step 5 - You will know when the ChestShop has been activated as it will display a message that the ChestShop has been successfully completed. If you do not see this message, you did not set up the ChestShop right.

  • Step 6 - Set up as many additional ChestShops as you would like and get ready for your grand opening to the public.
